I'm assuming you have a 1.8t. If so, sure, cut out the middle muffler and replace it with a $20.00 glass pack and put that on the back. It's not a stainless steel catback, but it works. Personally. I'd rather put the money into other engine improvements. The glass pack, high flow with factory piping works well enough for me now.

get a damn exhaust not some damn muffler. If you dont have the money for an exhaust then thats ok to buy the muffler but if you're being cheap and plan on getting more performance **** done to your car you made a mistake buying it. For an muffler it looks nice but good luck getting 10 HP out of it like the ad says.

Yes. my brother and i share the car. 2001 1.8tq, and we are saving for the apr chip/dv/giac tipchip. i hear if you upgrade you stock dv you need to upgrade your waste gate? true?

No, and I bought euro uni muffler and had one custom made and I like better then borla and alot of other exhaust.

True, but i want a different look. i dont want to make my car look like a kids. even though im 17. i want a different look. different is good.

Those tips are popular on VW's ifirc. There is a nice dtm muffler with no bent tips that is nice.
