i called the audi dealer to order the fresh air sensor. they said i didn't have one under my pollen filter. Well they really couldn't tell me where it was because the sensor they were looking at was in a wiring diagram. so i not sure what sensor i am really getting. either the one after the throttle body or something else. i will talk to the dealership more in depth when i go get the part.

So this sensor is for my heating and a/c system? Wow i will call the dealership up tomorrow and give them this part #. Your the man. Were did you find this info? Do you work at audi? I want this software. But thanks for your help

i double checked my connections for the o2 sensors they were fine. i will drive it to work tomorrow, and if i get a cel, i will just throw a new o2 sensor in.

 

So i start my car up today and what happens. i get a check battery light. and on the way home i get a cel (i haven't changed the o2 sensor yet). So i go home get my voltmeter and test the battery 12v i start the car 11.89v. the alternator is not charging the battery. isn't is suppose to hang around 14vdc. So i price an alternator at pep boy s 300 bucks, the o2 sensor 200 bucks!! so that is 500 bucks total. Well i do have a warranty though the used car dealer i bought it from. just have to pay 100 buck deductible. i figure it is worth it to take it to the audi dealership since the warrenty is good anywhere. And it will save me 400 bucks and time. And it is one of those warranty that you buy though a warranty company not the dealership. So i figure the dealership is just going to replace the 02 sensor and not care that i have a tp. as long as they get paid why would they, right? + they are going to check that temperature sensor 2. it was saying it was 32 degrees out (it was 80) lol so hopefully they fix it good too.
oyeah saw and rs6 at the dealership, so i stared at that for awhile. aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
