My steering wheel tightens up...I need help..
so when Im going under 15mph and try to turn my wheel hard in one direction it seems as if it tightens up and wont allow me to turn it smoothly, it almost seems like there is no fluid somewhere maybe...but ive almost hit a couple things because of this... like trying to turn into a tight parking space and then i cant turn my wheel fast enough so i gotta hit my brakes..
12v's are notorious for having ps steering problems that your having its actually because of the lack of valves in your motor and the lag and low end hp that causes this. Its the spinning masses through your belts and pulleys that throw your ps fluid at a low level. I suggest finding something else to drive maybe your dsm. Sorry bro.

ya check your fluid level.. if not this.. your pump may be on its way out.
hahaha its like Tip5 was technically and subtley saying your car is slow lol. Sorry dude, you already know this but its mostly likely your pump. I don't know about Audis but on humvees the same symptoms occur when its the pump, plus an annoying "gurgling" sound.
