have any of you have anything good to say about Nitto tires. im looking at some NITTO NEO GEN (All-Season Performance) tires taht seem like a pretty good deal. ive never read any reviews or anything about them. how is the snow/rain traction/NOISE/CORNER handling?

Im also looking at Avon Tech M550 A/S (Ultra High Performance All-Season) Ive read really good reviews on it. The price is just under 400 for both the Nitto and Avon Tech

The nitto has free shipping and the Avon is like 30$ i think.

btw these are 225/45/17

So if ya have some advice please feel free

thanks!

i had some nittos on my old honda...i was very impressed with them in almost any terrain...street, rain, snow, everything. road noise was minimal, wear was pretty good..and these weren't the top-of-the-line nittos, these were probably more towards the middle

I really like the avon all seasons... although I hate all season tires But the avons look like they came off a porsche, I love the tread. Very "continental"... I'd go avon, if I were in your position.

Sorry if I misled, I've never had either on... I just really like everything I've read about the avon's. I did a lot of research for tires... like, a LOT. Avons seemed like the best bang for the buck. Problem is, I'm in canada... they arent available here. I ended up buying an old favourite, the firestone firehawk sz50ep -- which is damned near impossible to find, but I highly recommend it if you can find it. treadwear of 340, and its an ultra performance summer tire. It is rare for a high performance summer tire to break a treadwear of 300... let alone 340.

I tell you what... with a tread pattern like that, they certainly look like they would grip on to almost anything. I would've been concerned about noise... but everyone thats owned them says they are quiet. I think they look great.

Yes.. Sorry. If Bent & Panda both recommend them, then I don't think you could go wrong. . . . Me I just think they look great. I'm running potenza's on mine and they handle really really well.
