Need Help with O2 Sensor Replacement
Hey guys,
I have an '02 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro and am going to be replacing my O2 Sensor this weekend and need some help. Where exactly are they located? I have searched and can't find a DIY. I believe I am going to buy a universal O2 sensor and splice the old clip to the new sensor. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
TIA

Personal choice for me is not to use universals. But if you do white to white, black to black, and gray to gray. The o2 sensor is located just behind the turbo before your cat and ther is one right after. One before you can do it one of two ways. Take your airbox out and use a 7/8 wrench or deep well socket. What we do here is cut the wire at its closest point to the sensor. Than use a 7/8 socket, u joint, extension, and wrachet you can get it that. Its pretty much the same for the year. The connectors must be disconnected the are on the drivers side firewall.
Hope I helped
