Default Need Help!! With the quickness!!

Ok, so im at a red light, just sitting there and all of the sudden my car starts to shake pretty badly and my check engine light starts to flash at me. So i pulled over and had my friend pick me up. With Monday a Holiday, nobody is open and I cant figure out what the problem could be.

Is it possible my snub mount broke or somethinhg?

Has anybody had this problem berfore?

thanks

The cel is not connected top the "snub mount", so I doubt it.
Once you read the codes you'll have a better idea of what is going on.
Sounds like maybea misfire to me.
Or, clean the TB lately?

Try to clean the Trottle Body.

I think I'd try to limp it home rather than leave it in the street to get sideswiped by some soccer mom in her tahoe.

sounds exactly like the symptoms people usually describe when a coilpack(s) eats sh*t.

Sounds like a coil pack. You can genly limp it home.

Chekc of codes and post it back here. If your car is older and has an ignition control module, and Cyl 2 is the one that is misfiring, and doesn't change to a different cyl when you more the coild pack, it is the ICM that has gone bad.

Either way common problem and generally an easy DIY fix.
