Need Help!! With the quickness!!
Ok, so im at a red light, just sitting there and all of the sudden my car starts to shake pretty badly and my check engine light starts to flash at me. So i pulled over and had my friend pick me up. With Monday a Holiday, nobody is open and I cant figure out what the problem could be.
Is it possible my snub mount broke or somethinhg?
Has anybody had this problem berfore?
thanks

The cel is not connected top the "snub mount", so I doubt it.
Once you read the codes you'll have a better idea of what is going on.
Sounds like maybea misfire to me.
Or, clean the TB lately?

A coil pack or spark plug will make the entire car shake? it even makes the exhaust sound to the rythem of the shaking.

actually according to onepoint8's post about cells, I should havea misfire, that is if he is correct. the cell will only blink when there is a misfire?
im gonna have to find out on tuesday b/c as of now my car is on the side of the street in town right now. is it safe to drive the car a short distance if i am misfiring, or just leave it be fora tow truck?
I think I'd try to limp it home rather than leave it in the street to get sideswiped by some soccer mom in her tahoe.
sounds exactly like the symptoms people usually describe when a coilpack(s) eats sh*t.

Sounds like a coil pack. You can genly limp it home.
Chekc of codes and post it back here. If your car is older and has an ignition control module, and Cyl 2 is the one that is misfiring, and doesn't change to a different cyl when you more the coild pack, it is the ICM that has gone bad.
Either way common problem and generally an easy DIY fix.
