Hello All, This is my first post. I am new to the forum and Audi as well.

I just traded my older BMW 325i on July 5th for a used 2004 Audi A4 1.8t Quatro Tiptronic with 31,000 miles. Thought I had made a GREAT choice Really enjoy the performance.

But just under 2 weeks of ownership (havn't even made a payment yet) and less than 300 miles, I am now getting an Intermittent error indicator light that my dynamic headlight range control is defective. I know that the lights adjusted (Test adjust when turned on) when I first came home with the car, saw them do it when I started the car the first night home, against the garage door.

It only seems to show up once and a while, when I start the car it gives no indication, only happens when I am driving, once in a while, sometimes I will go for an hour with no indication sometimes only 10 minutes. But I have noticed that the lights do not adjust any longer, and one seems to be pointing down more than the other (right side more downward pointing than the left).

So my question to the forum is regarding warranty information with Audi and anyone's experience with taking a used(not the original owner) Bought at a BMW dealer, in for warranty repairs to any Audi dealership ?

I have all of the Owner's manuals and all other reading material, and they all state that the car is covered for 40,000 miles and or 4 years. So I would assume that this repair would still be under warranty.

Has anyone had any trouble with the Dealerships doing what should be warranty work, but for a second owner, not orginal new car owner.

Since I bought it at a BMW dealer (and did not purchase an extened warranty) I don't think that it is considered a ===== Certified Pre-Owned vehicle by Audi.

I am just hoping that I did not get into a money pit. Audi dosn't stand for "All Ur Disposable Income" does it ??????

Thanks for any info and advice in advance.
