He purchased the car from a dealer, a year ago and has had the oil changed twice since then. It was a lease car when he boguht it, then didnt have the reccords from the oil changes before then. The Audi dealership told him the Synthetic had to be changed every 10k miles, and when he did have it changed again the screen was getting clogged and they felt it was in the best intrest of the car to change the oil pump but said the car was in good shape, that was 4 days ago.

 

before you buy it, make sure you can afford to maintain it.

Parts, etc are relatively expensive. Plan on 1500 per year for maintenance. I'm not saying you will spend 1500 a year, but if you can't afford to possibly spend that much, buy a Honda or toyota. These cars are not cheap, and when they do break, they are often expensive.

 

yeh money is not really an issue. but i will just continue the search and not give up hope
