New Front Pads, is this normal
Just finished doing new pads (Hawk HPS), rotors (plain Zimmermanns) and SS lines (Stoptech) all the way around. First time doing brakes but had some help from AudiA4_18T.
I was sure to bed in the pads as instructed on the way home. I checked them this morning and they are wearing uneven in the front. I'm quite surprised. The part of the outside pad on the outer diameter of the rotor is smaller than the side of the pad closer toward the center. See pic. Is this normal?!?!

The HAWK HPS did not have teh curved edge. The reason I ask is because the pads I took off wore flat, parallel to the backing. These broke in angled and I'm wondering if we did something wrong. I mean, taking it apart and putting it back together isn't rocket science. Outside of cleaning but not lubing the slide pins with high temp brake grease I thought maybe the caliper wasn't functioning correctly or something. I want to know now befor eit's too late to salvage the pads.
