Default New guy

Just making my presence known.. I'll give the story for how i'm getting into the audi a4 gang.
For the past 5 years I've owned a 97 jeep wrangler. Great truck but i've finally got bored of it. So I put it up for sale/trade.. Well boy did I get lucky!!! I got a call from a guy who asked if I would like to trade my jeep for his 2000 a4. Both my truck and his audi have about 100k miles on it.. This car is spotless.. its a quattro, all black with white leather seats, It has a turbo upgrade (not the k04 i believe its the garrett.. whatever the second most popular one is for an audi, the bigger one lol) it also has an upgraded ECU, upgraded exhaust borla, stage 3 clutch and aluminum flywheel, short shifter, adj. suspension, sway bar, $1,200 xenon lights, and apparently more.. AND EVERYTHING WAS DONE BY AUDI with papers to show. The guy is 45 years old original owner it was his everyday driver and swears up and down he didn't beat on it just liked the option to go fast if he wanted to. Hes also got more money then he knows what to do with.. he just wants to build up the jeep more and wheel it.. so its that simple. I do have a few questions...

about how much power do you think this is putting out with what i mentioned? quarter mile time ideas?
around what psi should i be running? and can I get a boost controller that I could put boost alittle higher on track day or is that a no no?
I'm plannin on a custom front mount intercooler.. about what size should i make the intercooler?
anything you could think about recomending.. I know one of those "test pipes" i think its called or something but i might not do that to try and pass inspection. unless u think its def worth it..

Thanks guys look forward to replies.

probably the gt28 (maybe the r or rs)

probably boosting mid twentys

boost controller... no the car will probably lean out

it really should have a fmic already with that turbo but w/e

sounds like a good damn deal to me

test pipes are nice but you wont get that much gain
go for a high flow cat for the same flow and will pass inspection/emissions

your gonna want a better turbo timer then a 100 dollar ebay special

you'll find thats the case with alot of things on your new car

just be aware the car is quick, but it is no quarter mile car
with all of that you'll be lucky to break into the 14's

And don't worry I don't take the cheap way out by any means

and I'm not looking for lightning speed just trying to get an idea what to expect..
