hey i'm going to check out an audi and was just wondering if you could point out some trouble spots i could look at. heres a list of some info that i have right now and some pictures also.

1997 Audi A4
it runs and drives well but makes a ticking noise as you drive. has exhaust, altezza's, cross drilled brakes, fully loaded, leather, power everything. 5 speed manual, quattro, 2.8 V6 silver with black leather, lowered 91000 miles on it power everything, sparco pedals, all tinted

+5000 dollars canadian. for this car. any thoughts?

how are these cars for modifcations. like upgrading turbo etc.. how does the car handle to these types of changes? do they come stock intercooled? i've never really looked at these cars for purchasing but it seems like it could be an alright deal and they seem like solid cars.

 

yeah. i hate altezzas too. where in canada are you? I havn't been able to find a good A4 for under 10K here!
the only thing i think when i see altezzas on an A4 is poor maintenance... so i'd definatly be concerned.

 

i live in bc. ya dont doubt about that bad maintenence thing having altezzas. that's main reason im trying to find some troubles spots. going to look at the car today.
