Just wanted to introduce myself. I currently own a E39-1998 540IA with 85,500 the M-Techfront and rearbumpers, M5 Style mirrors, AE HIDs, Koni FSD and Eibach Pro Kit Springs. You can say I had the mod bug on my Bimmer.I am currently on the Bimmerfest and Bimmerforums.

I just purchased a 1999 Audi A4 2.8 Casablanca White/Tan Interiorwith 88,500 miles auto.My first impression, not a bad car. The carfelt really tightlike a Germany car should feel like.The HP is adequate not fast not slow. Interiorquality is very good.I like the wood trim, doesn't look fake .. much in par with the bmw's .. i don't like the chrome around the shift **** .. looks cheap .. but other than that .. i like the interior..

The prior owner had her suspension completed redone, replaced rear seals,camshaft seals, front/rear brakes plus brake system flush and the time belt replacedat 65,000. The car came with Pirelli All Season Tires approximately18,000 miles on them.

I am looking forward in learning more about the Audi A4 2.8. Not looking to totally mod the car .. mostly a daily driver for my wife.Looking to tint the windows, fix some cosmetic stuff like the bumpers,and possibleset of new wheels and HIDs. Any suggestion ?

welcome.... I also have a 2.8, i currently have 19" RS4 replica's on mine and H&R springs as well as some e-codes. I personally like the B7 RS4 wells and you can find them in numerous places and e-codes you should be careful what you buy, just search the forum and you will see many places that offer quality parts
