So far I've had 3 3er Bmws and now a 545i which has been the bane of my existence. I've never had an audi before but my wife did have a Passat at one time which she loved. We are looking at 2012 or 2013 A4. What are some common problems with these cars I should look for? what should I expect as far as performance Vs lets say a 3 series?

 

Get an extended warranty if you aren't a DIY person and plan on keeping the car long. Quattro is addictive, but the reliability of Audi has gone down as the styling and marketing has gone up.
