Nitrous set up, writeup
i did that on my buddies r32, then on his evo, i told him not to hold the button(that is the route he wanted) too long or he could have problems, 2 grand later yada yadahe got an si
if it's after the MAF, i don't think the MAF will tell the ECU to push more fuel in for the cooler, denser air, and the fuel/air mixture could be lean. But then again, it's only for like 8 or 10 seconds, right, so it might not make a difference?
i was thinking the same thing, but the kit came with with some info on it and specificaly stated to put it after teh maf and before the tb, so i followed.
if you look in the last pic i posted right above the 6, thats where the intake lines are going into the intake.

Please tell me your not trying to run a dry kit! If so, you gonna blow that f'er up....AND IT LOOKS LIKE A DRY KIT. You should have a wet kit which will inject both nitrous and fuel from the nozzle and keep a/f in check and be safe to run.
no its wet, that splitter has a fuel line and a nitrous line, they come from two separate solenoids and join at the connector before entering the throttle body, they're regulated by different sized tips, thats how the hp is changed, i have a low hp shot in now, which is supposed to be the 50hp shot. we'll see how it goes.

yeah, definitely go with what the directions say. maybe the NOS could mess up the MAF anyway and you don't want to deal with that. Maybe look for another way to get it to run a little more rich when you want to use the NOS, then turnthe mixture back to normal so it doesn't mess up the cat by being too rich all the time.

ok good, i see the second line. You just made it sound like it was a dry kit. You will be fine since the jets are matched up to provide a safe amount of fuel with the amount of nitrous injected for each nozzle.
The maf needs to read the air taken in by the engine normally to add fuel normally, the nozzles take care of each other. If you shot it pre maf, you would have way more fuel than needed, plus fuel coating the maf sensor. Also, you need to have the nozzles a certain amount of inches from the TB.
