Default No car

So i noticed a leak a few days ago .. and it started getting worse.
Then yesterday it misfired when i started it up.
Then this morning on my way down to the dealership , the CEL was flashing and it was misfiring the whole way down.
They pulled some codes but there were too many for my to remember , lol .
they arent doing any work on it till Friday .. god...
I will post the codes when I get my car back.
I have lost my freedom

what does a coil pack do? A coil is a form of a smiple tranformer in electrical terms. A coil contains 2 sets of electrical windings a primary and secondary. When voltage is applied to the primary windings(battery voltage) and then quickly removed it induces a steped up much stronger voltage into the seondary windings, enough to jump a gap across your spark plug. So basically it creates your engines spark. Most cars will have a single coil(with a distributor) or 1 for 2 cyclinders(waste spark system). But on your higher $ cars (audi) there is 1 for each spark plug (coil per plug system). Hows that Prothymos

And when you go standalone with a waste spark system you need to ditch the stock coilpack, because they would need to recharge 4 times as fast which isnt possible. (Thought I would throw that in cause i learned it this week )
