Default nogaro blue a4

Hello, I just sold my automatic 1.8t and bought a 1998 manual 1.8t. And I was wondering if you guys think it would be sweet if i had my a4 painted NOGARO blue and how much do you guys think it would cost me??? Also, do you guys think it would be tight if i painted my adr's NOGARO blue but left the polished lip alone and painted my eyelids NOGARO blue??? please comment !!!!

Waste of money... for the price of a good paintjob you could nearly get a big turbo... Good paint is at least 3K... plus... yeah... it'll never be an S4... well not without some money... in which case you might as well have bought an S4.

Also, painting the wheels blue is fugly, IMO... there is a guy in our classifieds selling an S4 with the wheels blue as you describe... not so nice.

I have a very close friend who owns a paint and detailing shop and would do everything for free because i have done many favors for him in the past and all i would have to do is pay for the paint. Comment again

Well, if it's free then that's a different story. WHat sucks about changing colors is unless you put in some serious time your still gonna have your original color show up in places that were too hard to paint. It is a cool color but I'd prefer a little darker kandy blue. Something from House of Kolours or Hot Hues by Dupont would be nice. IMO you shouldn't paint the wheels.

if u can get the car painted for free yea why not, but dont paint the wheels...thats overkill IMO. Also dont do the eyelids.

Yeah making it look OEM is the hard part... I mean really... it is a LOT of work... all glass has to be removed... all weather stripping, door handles, mirrors, trim... the nicest paintjobs are when the motor is out, too.

Even if it is a friend... I would be very leery of a 'free' paintjob. Corners will be cut. Plus yeah... the a4's body isn't so flashy as the s4... so it is not so deserving of a flashy colour.
