Default NOS

Has anyone experimented with NOS on a 2.8 A4? My buddy who's a mechanic iced his 4000 and said he had no problem at all. Could I/Should I do this too??

Yeah you can. I dont know jack on NOS, just i would do a wet shot and there is a way to set it up where it only engages when your at full throttle.

Oneg did a NOS setup on his 2.8 12 valve. I think he put in the 50 or 75 hp shot, but I don't rememberfor certain. Search for his thread - it was a few months back.

The only problem your gonna run into on a 2.8L 30V, (not 12V) is that its athrottle by wire design. The NOS fogger system uses a micro switch that you mount to the throttle body thats activated by the cable when at WOT. So you're either gonna have to change the switch to a button on the steering wheel (GAY) or you can get a VENOM kit which has a control module activated switch, you just have to wire the throttle signal into the module and it does it for you.

I've seen a trigger button set up on the floor in other cars too - it gets hit by the gas pedal at full throttle. That could work, provided you have some way of keeping it from spraying below 3500-4k RPM.
