I have a 97 A4 2.8 quattro auto transmission, This happens probably 2-3 times a week and always when just starting out. We'll be starting at a light or leaving home -- slightly accelerating when the car kinda feels like the ABS is grabbing just for a second or two we have the speed sensor problem going on but that only happens when we're slowing down-- but they feel almost the same-- anyone have any ideas as to the problem??

Check for codes in the transmission.

When is the last time you checked the fluid level in the tranny, or changed the fluid?

 

Will check for codes -- just had it changed.
