the rack looks awesome ryan! I actually like taking my road bike out at night for the same solitude. I got one of those ridiculous HID lights for the bike and now cars wait for me thinking that I'm a motorcycle or something haha. I still need to get a rack for my avant... hadn't considered the factory cross bars.. maybe i'll look into those.

 

Yeah, I'm getting my list together for another road bike build now. I got away from it when I moved to Columbus because I though for sure it'd be the death of me. The drivers here are crazy. I miss it though, and in the "in between" months here when the trails are wet but not frozen in the spring and fall i get no saddle time.

Thanks for the compliments, and glad to see there's another biker on the boards. I had a buddy with one of those HID lights for night trail riding, and the battery was shaped to fit in his bottle holder it was so big. LOL. It was rediculously bright. I'm sure the wildlife thought the finger of god was roaming the woods.
