i just chaged my oil yesterday, but it took way too long to get the oil filter off [:@], what kind of oil filter wrench do you use to get the filter off? oh BTW, its a 98.5 A4 1.8TQ

dude just go to autozone and get the cheap expandable one. Its like 3 bucks and it works just fine..just make sure you get the right size to fit the recommended upgraded bigger oil fiter

Also a plier type here now. I used a strap type, cap type and the metal band type on my 2.8, but I guess a freakin gorilla put it on (flippin stealer, that was my first mistake!). I was panicking, filter was all crushed and I needed it done. Went out and bought the pliers, took that sucker right off!
