Was this oil light red in color and was flashing while you were driving?

 

yes the light was red and flashing while driving.

 

To late I think the torbo blew out last night. I was driving and I herd a knocking and pulled over opened the hood and the torbo was glowing red when it cooled down a littel I tryed to move it off the interstate and herd a noise and that was it. oil all over the place.Hade to be towed. It is a shame you buy a car from a dealer and 3 dats later this happends.Eather torbo or moter shot.

 

Wow, sorry to read this. If the turbo did go (and it sounds like it did) then there is a pretty good chance that metal made it into the engine as well. Not sure where you live, but lots of states have laws regarding cars that suffer failures with in so may miles or days of purchase (even used ones). Something to look into. Best of luck.

 

That was an oil pressure indicator.

Chances are that motor is shot.

 

When you see the oil light, don't just keep driving it.... Oil pump was shot man. You just fucked everything up.
