Default OIL PROBLEM.........................

I got my oil changed today (synthetic) and 20 miles down the road i smelled a slight burning smell from my car. Then a few moments later the oil guage began beeping and blinking in the dash. This only lasted a few seconds and has not occured since. What do u guys think about what may be going on. I did see the guy put the oil in as well as the right amount. There is a filter on the car as well, so i am clueless now. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

Check the dipstick, if low check for leaks.

Mine beeped because of low oil pressure and $500 later it quit beeping (new oil pump). That was about 6 months after I switched to synthetic. Try replacing the sensor first.

I heard fram filters were terrible.... some crazy bastards told me, guys who send their oil out to be analyzed a couple times a year.

Freaks.
