Oil Temperature Sensor

Oil Temperature Sensor
My wife just brought her 2001 A4 into the dealership to have the air bag module replaced and had them check the car over while she was in because the car idles rough from time to time. One of the items they noted was that the coolant temp sensor was bad. I have driven it several times since then and while the coolant temperature sensor appears to work fine, the oil temperature sensor never moves off of the bottom reading (150 degF I think). I asked her about it and she said that that temperature gauge always sits there.
Several questions:
1. I've been looking for an Oil Temperature Sensor on-line and can't seem to find one, should I be using different search words?
2. Will this possibly fix the rough idiling?
3. Where is the sensor located?
4. Is there anything to look for that would indicate a problem with the Coolant Temp Sensor as suggested by the dealer?
Thanks in advance for your help.

RE: Oil Temperature Sensor
1. try auto2.ru to find where it loced.
2. the idiling is coused by soething else, did you check the MAF???
3. I have no idea becouse you did not specify what engine you have
4. Does the arow move on the temp sensor, when it reaches 90C check if thermostat is open by touching the lower rad hose, and seaing if its hot.

RE: Oil Temperature Sensor
Are the coolant temp sender and the sensor the same thing on this car?
On my 98 1.8t, the oil temp needle always moves up after awhile, but it takes about 10 minutes of driving at least.
Are you getting a check engine light?
Does it idle bad only when its cold OR warm out?
Does it idle bad only when the engine is cold OR warm?
Are there any other abnormal things the drivetrain is doing?
