well 400 rpm ain't much so im sticking with a gt2871 .86...what about a gt3071 .64? how does that turbo comapare to the gt2871 .86?

so you would recommend the revo software over unitronics?

also i was looking at the atp kit. it comes with the turbo, manifold, intake, test pipe, and oil lines. turboand oil linesis 1200-1400, manifold ~400. i already have an intake and test pipe, so can i reuse those and save myself 600-800 bucks? its a evoms intake and eurocode test pipe (flange is 3 bolt pattern)
A 64 3071r will spool about the same as a 2871r (maybe 100-200 more lag) and willl get more power. If you want to something larger then go for it, i will be. You will need rods again, but you can make plenty of power with the 3071r with lower boost until you do.

sw is up to you. uni sw has had problems but have seemed to have work them out in the last month. they have made many old user into very happy ones with the new updates. as for revo, there are tons of people with the sw so it cant be too bad.

damn my greed is getting the better of me i just keep thinkin larger and larger. i dont wana get too large tho cuz of lag. i can deal with boost fully kicking in at 4k but any more than that and it'll be useless for my purposes. but i also want the most power i can get (ya i know i said 300-350 whp in the beginning but 400whp just sounds so much sexier) so you think the gt3071r .64 would be my ideal turbo?

gt3071r would be the best turbo for those goals, easily do 330-350 and it can make it to the 400 mark also.

** And i just noticed that you have a AEB car, so you already have a huge advantage over the later year cars. NICE!!

How can you tell a GT2871R from a GT28RS? I bought an ATP kit and I'd like to confirm the turbo before I buy the fueling for the kit.
