Considering buying a 2003 A4 1.8T Avant Wagon - Tip, 46,000 mi. CPO - asking $20,995 (they claim it has recently been reduced because it is old inventory). Haven't seen the car yet but understand it has most options (leather, etc.). Good deal or not? Are dealers typically willing to negotiate and if so, how sucessful have people been? At 46,000 mi, what should I make sure was done for service and/or request they do?
Thanks in advance.
PS: I've been the owner of a VW Passat 4mo with some serious electrical problems and am a bit weary of buying an Audi as a result. Any comforting words?

not all dealers are the same some are rock hard and some are weak
$20,995 seems like a good price to me man but if u feel brave bargon
is this audi dealership or just a used car lot
and you should try to find out as much as you can about a car befor u buy it

True, and leather means nothing on these cars... it was a no charge option (its not real leather) ... actually, come to think of it, i've never seen a b6 with cloth -- was cloth even an option?
And yes, if its an audi dealership, that makes a huge difference... their certified pre-owned warranty is amazing. Worth the extra $ to buy from audi, IMO.

Is leather even an option on the 1.8's? I thought it was a V6 thing only.
