Thanks...But if it never gets that high again, why would it trip that sensor, even though I have already cleared it?

 

You're killing me dude. Nothing trips the sensor! It has an internal electrical malfunction, you have to replace it, its just a coincidence its over heating the same time its throwing the fault, it wouldn't be the first car i've seen do that.

Ok man I still have the problem, but looking at other forums it says different things. Ok when I rev the car up, I can see that there is coolant being sent back to the g-12 tank, so maybe not the water pump? When I put the heat gun on the top radiator hose it reads about 150, but the bottom one is cold. Also why does the oil temp go up also?
Could it be the thermostat not opening or something?
