i gave the money to my friend to order my rims , he is going to order them tommarow but i was wondering if 19x8.5 with a 35 mm offset is the size with the biggest lip that i could get... would a 18x8 with a 33mm offset?

No way is that happening. For a b5 I wouldn't go any wider than 8.5" with a +35 offset. Also, I would go with 18's.
