painted side moldings?

Does anyone have their side moldings painted instead of getting side skirts?? I'm thinking about it, but not sure that the result will look so hot...anyone done this let me know, thanks.

yea most people di it their selves. just takes a plastic adheasive primer. i think its called bull dog? then a matched spray paint
