i want to know if there is a way to run my parking lights with my fog lights at the same time on my '05 a4, if anyone knows anything about it and could let me know that would be great. Thanks

 

not positive, but i don't think it's possible.

 

I'm not sure if this will accomplish exactly what your after... but you can vag-com your car, and switch it to the Canadian specs for lighting... which means fogs are on all by themselves (in addition to the corner lights -- the orange ones in your headlights) at all times...

Until you turn on your headlights... then the fogs turn off... and you can manually turn them back on. Fogs turn off, when you turn on your high beams.

I live in Canada, with a canadian car... I wish I had it how you guys do!

 

thanks for the info , i thought it was a possibility because a friend of mine has a 05 passat wagon and he is able to run his running lights with his fog lights by removing a fuse

 

im not really sure what vag-com means, can you explain that...

a vagcom is a tool for your car that plugs in to that thing under ur steering wheel, it allows you to access the computer.

 

I did it on my 05 USP, the only thing i dont like about it is the interior dash lights are on all the time as well.

 

is the vag com something that can be purchased or can be used at an after market install place? ive got buddies that can get a hold of pretty much anything if needed, i guess im curious where i can get it through
