pes supercharger g3 last i looked was on sale for 4290. you can honestly buy 3 a complete BT kits. I'm biased? Oh please not everyone wants a friggen turbo. Mods or no mods Some like the idea of a NA motor. Sure I'm not going to produce as much hp from a simple chipping. but I start out with considerably more also. As for what's his face's time. My point was there are many types of enthusiasts. Some of which are turbo nuts, and some are NA freaks. I am niether. They both have their plus's and minuses. They appeal to diggerent groups of enthusiests.

arent there other supporting mods needed with the supercharger, far passing the $5000 mark???- To make the kit?

it's a complete kit.

Once you reach the 320-330 hp of the pes g3 you have to do those same mods for the 1.8t if not more thus the cost is a near wash. They are different animals. Comparisons are really apples and oranges.

If you want to really screw this talk up throw in the new 2.0t, 3.2, and 4.2 s4 with APR or pes g4 s/c.

Hands down my money for sure out of the box performance is the 2.0t. Screw the 1.8 and 3.0. With 500 chip we are talking upwards of 265 hp and 300lb ft of torqe.

No really info on mods for the 3.2 fsi motor that i know of as of yet.

The 4.2 with supercharger is looking at 450 to 460 hp. that is nothing to sneeze at.

I'll take the supercharged s4!

As far as the price for the supercharger, it costs about a $1k less then an APR stage 3+ kit, and about $1k more than a GTRS kit. Also, you will need an FMIC and exhaust for the turbo kits, I'm not sure about the supercharger. So the supercharger really is not any more expensive.

no disrespect but there is not much you could do to a 3.0 my friend has one and all he did was buy rims and suspension. other then that everytting is superexpensive for that car. 1.8t there is so much todo that you could talk to ppl about and there is wayy more 1.8ts then the 3.0. i see 3.0 as a family car but seen sum nice ones too. srry bro its 1.8t allt he way no need to hate

the m-62 only makes max about 10 psi. it would have a difficult time producing enough to overcome the turbo's. You'd likely have to step up to the m-90 commonly used on larger v8 engines.
