Thanks of the input on the last post.

Well, I took the car back to PES. They recommended a TIP Chip. Well there isn't one for the B6 at this time. I'm going to start with a tranny flush and see if that helps. It looks like I'm stuck with eventually getting a Level10 tranny upgrade (about $5000 installed). F__K! I'd have to get a new valve body and torque converter upgrade. The guys at Level10 said that they see this type of transmission behavior all the time when a SC is installed.

I've got a new problem now. The ESP light has been coming on frequently. Sometimes it stays on, sometimes it goes away. Any thoughts on this? I like the safety of the ESP system and driving without it is definitely not an option.

I'm surprised that the level 10 is that expensive. Last time I checked the part was about 1700 dollars for the new body, and install shouldn't be more than a few hours of labor. What upgrade are they suggesting?

 

The guy at Level10 said he would need to rebuild the tranny with not only a valve body but also a torque converter. I have a feeling he has to split the tranny too. He said just a VB ugrgade wasn't enough.
