Also apparently the tow truck company ****ed up my windshield and it's now cracked so i have to replace that .... what horsecrap
If the towing company won't cover the windshield, you insurance company will. Windshield is covered by your comprehensive and will be ZERO dollar item (NO DEDUCTIBLE).

It ain't much but that should be another $300 or so knocked off of your costs.

There should be no deductible on the windshield. Your insurance should cover 100% of the cost. I had it done 2 years ago on my Dodge Ram. The people came to my job, took my insurance info, changed to windshield right there in the office parking lot, and then billed directly to my insurance. No money out of pocket (and I got a free box of steaks from them).

O **** nice -

Well I'll call and ask about the windshield

Regardless, I'm going to be out about $8k for this car.

$8k + $17k that I originally paid (tax free ) = $25k for a 2003 Audi A4 1.8t with 14k miles aint too bad

so I'm not too bitter. I'm calling it a lesson learned.

I might just shell out the extra grand to get my car fixed (the rear bumper and doors etc)
