I am new here and i am having a problem . I bought a 98 AUdi A4 . I love my silver baby. But this is my problem. I have never used the tiptronic, but when i put the car in drive now, all the lights on the dash board light up and it gets stuck in the gear. I literly have to put my foot to floor to get it to move. Now i did have a problem where the gear handle t would slide over to the tiptronic so i put apeice of paper so it wont move. But now is it doing what i said above. Please help. I am a female and i dont want to get taken advantage of by a mechanic because i dont really know what is wrong with my car. I want to go in with some information so any that is provided will be deeply appreciated. Thanks
