My brother has a 2001 Audi A4 1.8T - His TipTronic doesnt work, he looked and he saw he doesnt have a relay. But he automaticly thought that his Audi A4 doesnt have TipTronic

Can the A4 not TipTronic? He went to the Dealership and they said he has a very special and rare motor, and model. They said his A4 is the fastest A4 ( not his specifically ) more

like his model but its rare, Fast as in Stock from the dealership

 

sounds like a bunch of BS to me. The autoloaders of that year were all triptronic. If its not manual then its auto trip.

Did they also tell you that his car came with a GT2871 Stock as well?

Cant believe the stealerships man. Salesman usually dont even change their own oil.

 

dealership told me they need to keep my car becuase my cel light was on. said it need a full diognostic scan. that is back when i had reandom miss fires in every cylinder and 14 other codes[&:]. i told them there techs would be lost as soon as the poped the hood. all i wanted them to do was fix the air bag in the passanger seat.

for some reason my warrenty was not voided. i got a few free maf's like 2 or 3, blew 9 of em. and if you check the records my warrenty was still in effect when i sold it. even tho audi looked it over many times. i guess it pays to know a few people at the stealership

 

wow thats suprising..good for the current owner, i can imagine the trouble they are having after you ran 40psi on stock internals...did you sell demodded or as is ?

it was sold as is. running 21psi making 337whp. only talked to the new owner 2 times afterwards. we got into an argument becuase he didnt belive me that the car had a cat becuase he failed emissions. i proved him wrong and that it did indeed have a cat and havent herd from him since. a buddy of mine in colorado said he saw the car driving. but all the shops i told him to go to havent seen the car. so i guess its still running. i would like to race it once to see how it compairs to the evo. hopefully i will run into it over the winter. any one from colorado seen my ex?
