Is it Possible?
Hey guys, I was looking at my car and realized they would look really good if the bottom of the bumper didn't curve up. If you notice (btw I have a b5 a4 for those who didn't know) towards the wheel it is low then starts to curve up. Is there any way to position or change the bumper to get it to not curve up? Put some kind of spacer or something in between the actual Fascia and the bottom piece?
I don't really want to change my frontfascia to a Reiger or a S4 Fascia, I want that stock look but at the height that it is when it’s right by the wheel well, is there anything possible, a lip type deal that isn't noticeable? As you can tell I’m not to "gun ho" on changing the appearance just want it dropped a little more than what the H&R's gave me. |
RE: Is it Possible?
For those of you who have noooo clue what i am talking about Exibit A:
Can i make the front of this the height of the back http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y53...erquestion.jpg |
RE: Is it Possible?
Not really, cause you got your headlight washer lines running right behind that, along with the fog lights ect. You could balance it by putting a different rear bumperon, that would make the car look more level overall but you still would have to spend $$$

RE: Is it Possible?
still have no idea what you are asking

RE: Is it Possible?
Do you have parkinsons?

RE: Is it Possible?
For those of you who still don't understand what i am talking about
How do i lower the front of the lower fascia to be the height like the back of that front fascia |
RE: Is it Possible?
i think i can translate, but don't think i have an answer....
how can you make all of the lower valences on the car (rear in particular) match the height of the front lower valence.... correct? and the parkinson's comment is halarious. I LOL'd. |
RE: Is it Possible?
Oh i see what you mean, there are some pretty good carbon fiber front lower valances which are much more attractive and level, rather than the dip that the stock one has.
I can't remember who sells them though. There are also fiber glass/poly splitters you can add to give that effect of a lower center bumper. |
RE: Is it Possible?
so u just dont like how the center of the front bumper is higher then the sides right? i would say get a c/f diffuser if you want it to be level, or if your feeling really risky you can probably make it less noticable with a heat gun and some patients.

RE: Is it Possible?
Yes thank you the last comments were correct. I really did not know how to describe it at all.
I want something that will make it lower but not a big lip or anything of that nature. |
