Default Question about rebuilding

alright so after many tries and tries of trying to get financing on an a4 up here(canada) everything has failed even with a cosigner because the only ones that will do it have **** credit
but anyways
so now im going to look at buying an b5 a4 that has just stopped working, and i want to drop a new 1.8t engine and upgrade and all that crap
so i was just wondering how much is it for the new engine and to get an independant shop to install?
and i plan on doing apr stage 3 upgrade
i have 9,000 so far im just not sure how much everything will come to

apr's stage 3 is hella expensive for what it is. if i were you i would do a vr6-t, since it'll be about the same price maybe even a little less than a new built 1.8T. this is of course if your talking about building the block and going for above 400hp.
