Hello,

I have an 2006 Audi A4 Quatro. I can't get the lower bolt out of the caliper since it is blocked by a big metal piece. I have tried removing the nuts that appeared to be holding that piece in place but didn't help.

I have looked on youtube and found a great video for a 2000 A4...... yet he doesn't have the issue I have of the piece in the way.

I am trying to replace the pads and rotors, otherwise I would just have the bottom one loose so I can twist it out and pull the pads out.

Any help would be appreciated.

Does your car have electric parking brake?.If so do not attempt with out the proper scan tool!
