quick oil question
 

10w-30 or 10w-40 for my 98.5 2.8 any preferences or factual stuff that will lead me to use either one. I have a case of Shell 10w-30 so im just gonna use that till it runs out for now.

I am pretty sure my audi manual says 10w30.

Last 2 oil changes I've gotten I've been getting Castrol Syntec blend (synthetic/mineral 50-50% mix) of 5w-30. I just had one 2 days ago while the car was in the shop and that's what my dealer put in it. My car has 101K on it.
