they dont even work

Look at the fine print on most of them that says that they will pay your ticket

"Only if the driver is within 10 miles of the speed limit'

if the driver is going within 10 miles of the speed limit, there is a chance that the cop wont even pull you over

Sounds like a technology that hasn't caught up with its counterpart or our dreams.

Do you guys have a lot of cops with LASER's around you - I've only had mine go off once in two years due to a laser signal. That was a highway patrol car.

I have the Escort 8500 X50 - #1 or #2 on any test sight out there - Yeah its 300-350 (red or blue) but this thing has saved me so much money - I was out in middle of southern ND - no towns anywhere near me and I'm doin like a 100 - my radar goes off then stops so I slow down - it does this on and off crap for 5-6 min with me doin 60 then here comes a cop over the hill. some times its a little too sensitive but I'd rather have a scare than a ticket.

Valentine 1 or X50 are my suggestions - what does everyone else have?

Laser jammers not the same as Radar jammers.

Active "radar jamming" is illegal period.

Active laser interference islegal in most states...

radar jammers don't work?? then why are they banned over there if they don't have a value and the pigs are not worried then what the hell are they whining on about,
of course they work that's why they put up this stupid smoke screen to deter you from stopping their cash machines making a hit

ok well radar jammers dont work and iilegal in every state because they interfere and let out radio signals which is iilegal with the fcc and the fine for jamming radar is like 10000 plus jail time not worth it! now laser jammers are not iilegal yet but they are in some states but do work and it hard to regualte light because thats all they do it let out infared light to jam the laser gun sometime 2 jammer heads arnt enough tho if u have a big car even with a4 u might need 3 to get total coverage

im glad someone knows what they are talking about!
jamming RADAR is illegal in any state like u said because you are actually putting out a signal... thats why anyone could put up a reward for a passive jammer that works because it has to be active to block radar...

and someone did a review of that one from denmark and its actually a rebadged radar detector... nothing is different on the inside... i forget the US version its a copy of

now LASER jamming can be done passively with LEDs and lasers.. lidatek makes a laser jammer but its off the market now for an update.. they sold out they worked so well...

lastly you can make a radar jammer if you can build ham radio type stuff but it is certainly illegel and i would use it on lonely road where the cop could easily identify which car messed up his gun

also i have had an escort x50 went bad in 2 years

i have a v1 now and love it! its nice knowing where they are at witht the directional arrows

Radar jammers are illegal.

Laser jammers are not and they work.

I have 13 confirmed laser hits and 0 tickets and my friend also has a similar track record.

I have dual Lidateks and Passport SR7 laser countermeasures in the front of my Avant.
