I went to an audio shop and replaced my stock radio with an alpine radio, when i took the car to the audi dealer to get some work done, they said that something was conflicting with the computer. It was the radio (thats what they said). The store that put the radio on the car used the wrong harness. i ended up returning the radio and putting back the stock radio. I tried best buy or circuit city and they told me that they didn't have a harness for this type of car. where can i get a A4 2000 harness or how can i go about this?

 

The installer was suppose to cut the K cable, otherwise you can't scan (VAG) the electronics.

 

I think thats what happen, but now if i want to install a aftermarket radio, where can i get the radio hraness. I think they used a VW harness.

 

Search over google for a metra harness.
