Radio Removal for serial number?
You need to get the code from the dealer. They get the code emailed to them from Audi. You can take it out with the tool, but aside from that, you're not getting it out without breaking it.
The radio code should be in the radio owners manual book. (if your car came with one)
if not, go to the dealer tehy will pull the code for you and youll be set within 30 min.

The local stealership here wanted a full hours labor ($98+tx) for my radio code. I said "no thanks" and when it comes to replacing my battery, I'm going to swap my deck out, too XD
hey guys, i went to the library and found a picture of the tool needed to remove the radio console. I made a makeshift tool out of a thin and small ruler, inserted into the four points in the console, pulled a little and the console popped right out, got the serial number and popped it back in, no damage. if anyone is in the same situation, and needs help just message me....thanks for the help guys

That's a bummer....I'd pay the $$ for the code. Just me. I think Audi needs to design their radios so you insert your (digital) ignition key and it resets the radio for you. Then you don't have to worry about whether the radio code gets passed along from one owner to the next.
