I have a 2001 A4 quattro and i newb question. I bought an Evoms intake, but when i was taking out my stock airbox i notcied this attached to it (see pictures, second is a little blurry, sorry). What is it? there is no place to attach it to the new intake so what do i do with it? any help is appreciated. thanks

 

That supplies air to the secondary air pump. It is only used on cold starts to warm up the engine faster. If the new intake doesnt have a place to attach it, you can just stick a small filter on it orput on a microphone cover.
