Default Readjusting Valve Gap

recently my engine started making clicking noise, it’s not that bad but i don’t want it if it’s diy thing, while back we readjusted gap on older car, and i think newer cars have self adjusted valves (I might be wrong).

so is there a procedure to readjust valve gap, I would need gap numbers, ond any other info on how to do this?

They're hydraulic, you can't adjust them. A Seafoam treatment can help otherwise you'd probably have to replace the lifters.
