Rear Fog Light Mod....how to remove brake light warning?
 

2001 A4 B5 1.8TQ

Hey guys...I just performed a rear fog light mod in my B5 A4 (drilling a hole in my plastic light casing) so that I could put a bulb into the (top slot) rear passenger-side light.

Everything works great, but when I put the car in gear and turn my fog lights on, a "Brake Light" warning on the led screen comes on. My brake lights are fine, everything works perfectly.

How do I get this warning signal to go away? I don't mind driving with it if I have to, but it'll get annoying after a while...

what type of bulb did you use in it ?

I'll check it tomorrow, but I believe I used the same bulb for the fog and the rear lights. Is the brake light bulb different from the rear lights/fog lights?

One bulb in there was different from the other two...I think I just put 'em in the wrong slots. I'll check it tomorrow. I love simple solutions....
