hi im ahmed. i brought a 3 button flip key remote for my audi a4 2001 b6 from ebay . iv tried a few ways as shown here to programme the remote control. but the car does not respond at all. no horn or flashing lights.i did match the no: 8zo & frequency is same to my origanal remote. how do i know the remote is not faulty. plis help im new

 

Does it have a new battery?

 

fit new batteries and point the remote at a camera "one that you can look at on tv or a screen the led shows up white on the screen a bit like night vision cameras

 

the batteries r fine i tested it with my other remote. and batteries work. it seems to be the buttons , just cant get any signal out of it .
