i had to disconnect tha battery today and when i finished and went to lock tha car nothing happened like tha remote didn work , now i only have one remote key an 1 plastic valet key, how can I fix this (do i have to reprogram it?) B6 A4 3.0

 

put the valet key in the ignition, turn it to the on position.

Shut the door, put the fob key in the drivers door lock, turn it to the right so it locks the door. Then push the lock button on your remote while holding the key turned to the right, your parking lights should flash. Pull the key out of the door, hit the unlock key on your remote. Thats how I did mine.

edit: mine is a b5 not sure if this is the same process for a b6

You can also program it if you have a vag-com.
