How do you access the brake light bulb on passenger side of a 2000 A4? After popping out the two plastic rounds that hold the carpet in place, and pulling the carpet aside, there is a black plastic-like section held together to a white section. Bulbs can be seen in between these parts but black piece does not want to come loose or apart although it looks like it is held together with tabs that are not very flexible. I'm afraid of breaking these pieces with too much force - there must be a way of getting them apart? Or is there another way to change the bulb. Thanks

 

Yeah good question, I was searching for a solution to that problem myself but for the back right signal light on my 2002...
