My sincerest apologies. I'm exceptionally new to this whole forum thing and german car thing. Funny thing is when I had the trial flashing done I had a bad turbo. Audi is installing a new one as we speak. God bless warranties.

ya well you can kiss that warranty goodbye once you put the chip in. although you can just swap it out for the stock ecu when you have to take it in

revo is 195

imagine that... basic searching turned up the same answer i gave...
Ok smart ***...

Firt of all, in the link you posted for APR, they claim 209 chp.

Second of all, the link you posted for Revo is not for the b6 1.8T engine. This is the correct link: http://www.revotechnik.com/products/....aspx?pvID=629

They claim 205 chp. Regardless, it doesn't really matter if one company claims an extra 5 hp. Those numbers really do not mean much, but you are the audiforums expert I guess.

Personally, for the b6 I am not biased towards any of the companies. I think yiou would make a great choice with APR, REVO, or GIAC.

Oh and BTW, do you really think that out of two different reputable companies that one is somehow going to majcally produce twice as much more power than the other? Its not rocket science. All these companies are using the same methods to produce these gains, which is why they are nearly identical for each company.

well since you have been nothing but a dick, I will respond in kind. Cut the sarcasm and exageration because its BS. A 6 hp difference is a 6 hp difference. Its ENTIRELY possible for one company to produce more horsepower over another, is it much? not really no, but its still there. So if you want to post something showing me how Revo is SO much better for a B6, please do, otherwise recognize the fact that a differing opinion can exist, oh audiforums master.

I'm not being a dick. You are giving out false information. Like I said before, I'm not biased towards any of the companies, and it would be tough to say if APR actually does have a +4 chp gain over REVO because they are using differenct cars, dynos, and conditions to do this testing so it really is impossible to say. Not that you could notice a 4 hp difference anyway. Yes it is possible for one company to make a little more power, not twice as much unless one company is completely incompetent.

How am i giving out false information? And where did I claim one company was making twice the hp of another? Different chips have different qualities, and its a FACT that some produce more hp than others, they are NOT all the same.

They are all about the same power wise... Some tuners will over rate their hp/tq numbers a tad for sales purposes, but i have talked to 2 different tuners who have said that the Revo flash "takes" better on a B6. There are some places who discontinued selling Revo and switched to GIAC or APR because they are less "glitchy" for all A4 generations.

you have a B6... which means had you used the search function you would have seen that an APR chip is probably going to get you better results...

I'm finished arguing with you. The only reason I was disagreeing is because I believe when someone is about to spend over $500 of there hard earned money, they should have all of the CORRECT information necessary including FACTS. Not worthless opinions with nothing to back them up like what you gave in your first post. This why I do not spend much time on this site anymore.

Dude Im with flyinB5 on this one REVO is far better for the B6 just because APR has More Hp doesn’t mean its usable Hp they may have it way high or in funny spots as I saw from their programming for the B5, A revo B6 feels much nice than an APR B6 and I have been in both REVO although they don’t make the claims or higher Hp like APR is just as good or better in almost every Audi owners opinion or at least ones that know what they are talking about
