Whats REVO software, what does it do for your car, is it a chip and how much is it? I always hear people saying how there getting there car "REVOed"

 

Its a chip, but not. They flash your ecu instead. i got a gain of 45hp and 50lbs of torque. JOIN THE REVOlution!!!

 

So whats the difference between an APR chip and gettin it REVOed, does it have any benefits?

"revo has had lots of problems with many customers from questionable business practices. Moreover, there was a lawsuit against revo for "stealing" intellectual property from APR. Basically revo stole all of APRs code and spawned into a new company. The tuning is unsafe since it is programed to ignore native safety features in the OEM system. Lots of info here and on audiworld. I would get anything BUT revo. Not to mention their crappy stage 3 stuff."

 

Yes, apr is in a lowsuit because revo basically took there software, Revo is new to the world of tuning, apr is not. Apr is much more reliable and alot more tested. I personally will never run revo software. It has ruined ecus also.

Panda, take it from me, i have ran alot of the software now. In my expeirences, GIAC owns. Now, i didnt run giac with a ko3, but i have it now with a ko4 and it is sweet. I ran apr for a while also, extremely strong, hard pulling. Giac is a lil later in the rpms band, but when it does, wow, hang on. Gaic, with a flashloader(100oct) is the way to go if your not upgradeing turbo. Giac has the fastest ko3 a4 time, of around 14.1, pretty impressive.
