rough idle at stert up....

rough idle at stert up....
Pulling out of my garage this morning and car idled very rough for about 5 seconds. CEL flased for 5 seconds too. Gave a little gas and and cel light went off and engine ran normally to work. What could have this been? Any one? thanks

yep, sounds like it could be a bad coil pack. has the car ran fine since? if it runs fine now then the car fixed itself, if you experience more flashing cels in the future then that will be your first place to look.

How many miles? This is ur defining moment...
If over 70k I would go ahead and change all the coil packs and plugs..if they haven't totally gone out yet, that was a sign that they will soon, or one of them probably. And you can rest assured that when one goes out, they all quickly follow.
